Story & Atmosphere
Little Italy Pizza, nestled in the heart of Manhattan at 2 E 33rd St, serves up a quintessential New York slice with a distinct charm that keeps locals and visitors coming back. This spot stands out not just for its prime location near Koreatown but for its consistently flavorful offerings. The balance of their tomato sauce with the crispy, yet tender crust creates that classic New York-style pizza everyone craves. The variety on the menu, from gluten-free mushroom and cheese to buffalo chicken, caters to diverse tastes and dietary needs, making it a versatile choice for groups and families alike.
What impresses me most about Little Italy Pizza is the quality combined with efficiency. Orders are fulfilled swiftly, often within ten minutes, without sacrificing the flavor or texture of the pie. While it’s a seat-yourself setup with limited seating, the atmosphere remains lively and authentic. The crust has a satisfying crunch that complements the vibrant, well-seasoned toppings perfectly. Even late at night, this place retains its appeal as a dependable stop for a hot, crispy slice.
Service here is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive dining experience. Though prices reflect Manhattan’s typical range, the value in taste and portion justifies the cost. Deals like two regular slices with a free drink offer some relief for regular visitors. Whether you’re wartime locals or visitors from Kansas City seeking a memorable New York pizza, Little Italy Pizza delivers an honest, scrumptious slice that sets a high bar in the city’s vibrant pizza scene.
“ Never been to a Litty Italy Pizza location. I like that it’s hardly ever packed when I sometimes come for lunch. What I don’t like are the prices but then again it is Manhattan and NYC everything has gone up in price so it’s not surprising. The pizza is really good too! The cook’s are always on point and they do have a deal of 2 reg slices and a free drink so that comes in handy for the regular slice fan’s! I love the crunchiness on the slices! The crust is really good too! The garlic knots weren’t that tasty but I definitely liked the slices I’ve gotten in the pictures. ”
“ Visiting from Kansas City and stopped in for dinner. I was happy to find a table for four. My wife and kids sat and I ordered a?whole cheese pizza and 4 drinks. Pizza took maybe 10 minutes. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I'd say better than any pizza I've had in Kansas City. Definitely recommend stopping by. ”
“ What a delicious experience with Little Italy Pizza and I mean that figuretively. I ordered a gluten free mushroom and cheese pizza and it so delicious . As you see in the photos, you have a variety of pizzas to choose from. My granddaughter ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and she didn't even talk until it was finished. The service was good and they have some seats. I noticed most people ordered to go. Next time you are in New York try their pizza. Enjoy! ”
“ This was the crunchiest, most delicious pizza I’ve had so far. Service was fast, it’s a seat yourself type of place, and the beer was FULL TO THE BRIM. Love it, would recommend. ”
“ Just had two slices and the crust was not crispy, instead it was soft. I expected crispy, crusty, crunchy pizza. Okay New York style pizza. The location is good, walking distance from Koreatown. Music a tad too loud. Not the best crowd also, lots of tourists ”
